This year, we are both thrilled and grateful to be receiving the support and funds raised by Gary Gelfand in the Villara Cup! Each year, leaders from the Sacramento region are divided into two teams for an exciting 3-day golf competition. Donors have the opportunity to support their favorite player (or their favorite charity), as each player is competing to benefit his or her favorite charitable organization. The winning team's designated charities share a prize fund of $100,000! Please consider donating to Gary's campaign and his amazing fundraising efforts!

About Gary:
I am honored and thrilled to be playing in my first capital cup. What a fantastic event. Golfing and raising money, it really doesn’t get any better than that.
I’ll be playing for the American Cancer Society. This organization has great meaning to me as I am a two-time cancer survivor. In 2010 I was diagnosed with leukemia. After being cancer free for nearly 8 years I was sure I would never see this horrible disease again.
Unfortunately in 2018 the leukemia came back and this time I needed a bone marrow transplant. some absolutely amazing people came together at Kaiser Permanente in Roseville and at Stanford medical center where I received the BMT.
I also couldn’t have gotten through all of this without support of my loved ones and the great people of the Sacramento area. your support in any amount Will go directly to the ACS. Let’s find a cure and get rid of cancer forever!
