Thank you for your continued support of the American Cancer Society as we navigate the unique circumstances surrounding the COVID-19 virus.
Our Board of Ambassadors decided to postpone the in-person portion of our 13th annual Sacramento Hope Gala, scheduled for September 25, 2021. This is due to the continued day-over-day case rate increases of COVID-19 from the highly infectious Delta variant. Please know our top priority remains the health and safety of our volunteers, staff, and the cancer patients and their loved ones who rely on us.
The online auction portion of our Hope Gala will open at 5pm Friday, September 24, and close at 1 p.m. on Sunday, September 26th. You may place bids on desired item HERE
We will also be continuing our Pajamas for Pediatrics campaign with our Pediatric Honoree, Alicia Anzelc. Check out the Pajamas for Pediatrics tab, or click HERE for the amazon wish list.
Our mission goes on regardless, for those who wish to donate please visit the DONATE tab. We thank you for your continued support.
If you have additional questions about COVID-19, please visit CDC for information about the virus, symptoms and severity, and how to protect yourself.
Together we will get through this and continue making a significant difference in the lives of families facing cancer. If you have further questions, please reach out to your staff partner at firstname.lastname@example.org or (916) 638-8592.
Thank you again for your patience as we work together through the challenges of the pandemic.
For more than 100 years, The American Cancer Society has been leading the fight to end cancer. With your support, we have helped usher in an era where more people survive cancer than ever before. By translating our research findings into action, we've seen a 20% decline in US cancer death rates since the early 1990s.
